Coventry-based Evoluto Automobili is set to begin production of its reimagined Ferrari 355 in March, following a year-long development and testing phase. This isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade; it’s a comprehensive overhaul of Ferrari’s iconic mid-90s V8 coupé, aiming to blend classic design with modern performance and reliability.
Revitalized Design and Lightweight Construction
The 355 by Evoluto features a striking visual refresh led by renowned British designer Ian Callum. The exterior has been updated with a larger grille, a carbon fiber lip spoiler, and modern LED lighting replacing the original pop-up headlights. More importantly, extensive use of carbon fiber in the body panels has slashed the car’s weight from the original 1,422 kg to a target of 1,250 kg, depending on customer specifications.
